It was founded by Sam and Alex, who met at work and shared a passion for work place culture and music. They saw an opportunity to bring their passions together and created Playmkr.

Sam and Alex initially started sharing music with each other at work, and before long it became a company-wide practice. People from different departments started to share their favorite music, and the positive impact it had on the office was undeniable.
